DIMITRI AMAR, President
Dimitri formed Tesla Electric in June, 2006. He acts as President, overseeing General Operations and directing company undertakings. Dimitri oversees all project management functions as well as contract negotiation, job estimating and budgeting and accounting.
He has more than 20 years of performing and managing in the electrical field with extensive experience in the oil drilling and industrial electrical systems for land base or sea based platforms in harsh arctic weather conditions and has completed several extensive commercial projects.
DAVE SMITH, Operations Manager
Dave is a perceptive goal-achieving manager with expertise in industrial and commercial construction, facility maintenance and environmental remediation. He is proficient in contract and project management, policy development and organization, writing project plans, reports and documentation, negotiation, RFP submission, scheduling, analyzing bid proposals, budget development, job cost control, estimating firm fixed price and cost plus fixed fee projects. He strives to build a cohesive team and empower others to achieve business and company objectives.
Dave has been with Tesla for two years and is responsible for Corporate Operations in the Anchorage office, execution and management of contracts and subcontracts, contract negotiations for firm fixed price, cost plus fixed fee projects and design build, insurance, bonding, budgets, licenses and training, HR oversight, program development, job costing, safety and quality control.
TED MCCLURE, Operations/ Project Manager
Ted joined Tesla Electric as Operations Manager in June, 2010. His primary function is to oversee the overall function and performance of all projects and personnel of the company. He communicates with customers and clients, works with superintendents and foremen on work schedules and man power and maintains positive relationships with all these stakeholders. Ted has worked in remote areas of Alaska as an electrician so understands the nuances and logistics required for performing in these areas of special circumstance.
DAVE ELLIOTT, Project Manager/ Lead Electrician
March, 2011 is when Mr. Elliott’s journey began with Tesla Electric. His 22 years of work experience in Alaska has taken him all over the state to locations such as Klawock, Angoon, Craig, Juneau, Skagway, Prudhoe Bay and many more. Dave has been instrumental in the success of the company and its success, through oversight of projects as well as successful project estimating.
KIM AMAR, SHRM-CP, PHR, MSHR
Ms. Amar joined Tesla Electric as a full-time employee after completing her Masters degree in Human Resource Management. Her 20 years of previous experience as an Administrative Assistant and Assistant to the President of a multi-million dollar organization tasked her with various special projects and oversight over profitable functions and daily reports for streamlined coordination between different facets of the organization.
Kim oversees the personnel function of hiring and onboarding of new employees, collecting and reporting relevant data as required by DOL as well as assisting in the payroll duties. She works closely with Accounting and Project Managers to ensure that the demands of accounts receivable, accounts payable, insurance requirements and state and federal requirements are met and adhered to.
TRISH KLOBERDANZ, Bookkeeper
Trish’s commitment to Tesla Electric began in June, 2010. Trish’s knowledge of Construction Accounting has been such an incredible asset that her employment has been maintained with her now working remotely.
Trish oversees all areas of Accounting and balances and accounts while maintaining positive relationships with our vendors and customers. She seeks cost savings and efficiency while maintaining integrity and company professionalism.
